Oh my gosh this bag is amazing. I love it. The handles with the canvas are so sturdy. The inside of the bag has no liner, just the raw inside of the leather, but I like that look. The leather isn't treated so it wears pretty quickly but worn leather looks awesome anyway. Rain and snow are dangerous but you can always add a leather protector. It comes with a pull out canvas bag which is cool. Fits my 17" laptop no problem plus stacks of papers for grading. For the price, it doesn't get better (not that I've seen). If you love leather and don't need fancy linings and details, you'll love this.

It looks, feels and smells wonderful. The interior canvas bag is also very well made, with corners of matching leather. Very sturdy, with a monster of a duty zipper. I will be seeing how it holds up, but I believe that this bag will last a long time. I may have to break down and get this in a couple more colors.

This is a great looking and extremely high quality bag. I use it for work, where I take purse stuff and laptop and using a few papers or files. It has no problem with that. The insert in the middle is wonderful. Every time I carry this bag someone asks me about it.Regarding quality and fit: on the inside of the leather straps is a fabric that keeps it from slipping on your shoulder. This is a huge help! Also, it really sturdy and feels like it could handle the weight of laptops, files, etc. with no problem. That has been my experience. I have two colors I liked it so much:)

It is a nice bag but it doesn't stand on its own. I thought I had read it stands on its own but I guess not. It always falls over and since it doesn't have a zip closure, things fall out. You would have to put everything in the pouch that is included.Update: It started coming unraveled about a month ago so it is now falling apart.

I have returned bags from other sellers because the leather was thin. This is thick. The color is rich brown, slightly darker that pictured. I actually like it better. Scratches wipe off, no odor. I got this for toting all the "stuff" I take along to work, and to tuck my small crossbody bag into so only have one bag on my shoulder. It is sturdy and well-built; large enough to stow away all sorts of items. It has a snap closure at the top to keep things from falling out if it tips over a quick stoplights. But, that's not likely, as it has a wide base. I really like this bag

Bag is sturdy and nicely done. Unfortunately, it's just a bit heavy for my liking and the handles are not long enough to fit my shoulders when I have my winter jacket on so it keeps sliding out.I gave it a four rating anyway since mostly it was my fault that I miscalculated the weight and the handles measurement.

I was looking for a tote style purse that also had pockets or some way to organize things, and this one is great. Also, it has enough structure that it stands up nicely when you put it down - even when put on a car seat in a moving car. I really like the soft texture and rugged look of the leather. I can carry it to work or on a weekend as it works with a wide range of clothing. I looked for a long time before choosing this bag, and I am very happy with this purchase.

I wanted to love everything about this bag, but the smell is still overwhelming after 3+ days receiving the bag. It smells as if the leather has been chemical treated and is so overwhelming that I am still feeling dizzy effects of it idling nearby my workspace. Since I had purchased it as a work purse, I can't use it if it is so overwhelming that it is inhibiting me from working efficiently.

This bag is truly genuine leather. A great distressed look that will even improve over time. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because I purchased the blue color and used the bag for airline travel, and the dye transferred to the sweater I was wearing, as I carried the bag through the airport (long day of travel).

I bought this bag because I needed a new work bag. I wanted one that was leather that would be durable and last a long time. So far I love this bag. The bag is big enough to carry all my things yet not heavy. Leather quality and the strapping quality seems great. I also like that the straps are long enough that I can easily swing it onto my shoulder with one hand. Lastly there is no overpowering leather odor on this bag. It does have just a slight gentle smell which I like.

It is a nice bag but it doesn't stand on its own. I thought I had read it stands on its own but I guess not. It always falls over and since it doesn't have a zip closure, things fall out. You would have to put everything in the pouch that is included.Update: It started coming unraveled about a month ago so it is now falling apart.

It is a very nice bag and feels sturdy. Whether it will hold up over time, who can say. It's not as attractive as the images indicate. The product info indicates that it will buff over time and become smoother and softer. As of delivery, it's very stiff and dull looking. Also, it's quite heavy even with nothing in it. Not like a burden, but by the time I put a laptop and various work stuff in it, it's quite the drag, particularly if you have any structural pain, etc. It's too soon to say whether it is worth the investment. I just wish it was a bit more on the asesthetics.
