I purchased this backpack for trips to Thailand as my carryon. It is stylish and has a lot of space for everything you may need. I had a laptop, toiletry bag (also from S-Zone), magezines, full size headphones and snacks in it. The front pockets and zippered back compartment proved very handy for quick access to my tickets and passpot. Paying the price for a backpack of this quality is a no-brainer.

Saw one leather backpack at Costco and see the expensive price. Search at amazon and compet the price. Finally get this backpack, cost me $100+ and receive it with perfect quality. Look scratch a little bit on the outside, my girl friend said this is how these leather looks. Everything is perfect and I love it sooooo much!

Very happy with the quality of this bag

Was looking for a solid quality, moderately price, leather backpack for travel and day hikes, and this bag really meets our needs. While the front pockets don't have full closures (aside from the upper zipper pocket), the clasp and strap works just fine for my needs. Glasses case fits perfectly in either side pocket, and multiple front pockets permit easy storage/access to various chargers/cables/cash and other quick access items. On the inside, the computer pocket area is a bit large for a 13" MBPro, but only from a snug-feel standpoint. I don't have any feeling that the computer is not fully protected and separate from the other items I'd keep in the bag. A couple of inside pockets provide space for larger chargers/cables/Kindle and other devices. The quality of the leather feels and smells solid, and initial slight wear only heightens the visual appeal, in my opinion. Really happy w/ this purchase, and highly recommend as a mid-priced, solid quality pack.

Just what I wanted

The backpack is too heavy for traveling.

I rarely write reviews. Occasionally a product will impress me though and this one did. Feel s great to the touch. Cleans easily with water. sturdy as you please. Also, something you don't see much is that when you carry it as a handbag it caries on a perfect center and is not awkward the way most back packs are when used in this way. - In fact, it carries so well and looks so good that anyone at a stakeholders meeting would not only forgive you for not carrying a briefcase, but they would probably be jealous and ask you where you got it. I like to try to list my least favorite thing as well when reviewing an item (because every product has a flaw or two) so here are those flaws: 1.) The back carry is what you would expect. Not really a problem since it is a freaking backpack, but it does not include the fancy new space-age mega apocalypse 50 mile treck memory foam and flexible boned ribcage that you find on backpacks for preppers, so if you did want to carry it for miles and miles you would be ever so slightly uncomfortable after a while. 2.) With how otherwise great it is at being what it is supposed to be I was mildly disappointed that it did not come complete with one of the Infinity Stones. ;p

the backpack is great but someone placed an inventory sticker directly on the leather pocket. looks ugly and no way to get the adhesive off without trashing the leather worse than it already is.

I bought it for a travel . Its alittle heavy but made very well and looks like it will last a life time!!

Very on the fence buying this for the price but was delighted thought the price was justified and was ready for it to outlive me until the stitching on the zip gave out a few months after return window closed :) buyer beware - Company have now replaced the item thank you very much :) I made an effort to get it replaced to avoid wasting leather but my cobbler couldn't find any zips that would work. Even after waiting a few months (with a tiny bit of debate) they send a code for a replacement very pleased :).

This is one of the most classy, adult bags I’ve ever seen. I sent my 12 year old son to school with it and parents started asked where they could get it for their husbands and themselves for college. This is the second one I’ve purchased over time and it’s true, the more use it gets the better it looks. If you want to go to class in style, get this for your courses. I use for my Mac products. Like the quality leather look and the fact it has many compartments for everything from my laptop, to iphone, to chargers.

The leather is thick. Lots of pockets. Zippers are terrible. They are all catchy. The main top one sticks the worst and is very difficult to unzip because it sticks and you have to hold the flap up to even get to the zipper. Last photo is the bag unzipped. Some of the stitching looks a little loose. For this price point I expect the zippers to be higher quality.

This bag is just what it looks like. I purchased it for my husband for work and he loves it. He carries it everyday.

This was a Christmas gift for our grandson who is 22yrs. old & is going back to college for his Master’s. He absolutely loves it! He loves that it’s made of soft leather, has many different compartments, easy to put on & get off, and of course looks old but is new!! It’s very well made and will be around a long time due to it’s durability! I’m so proud we bought it for him, & so proud how it will be used!!

Very upset that my zipper broke within 6 months of owning this I loved this backpack now can’t even use it..

I bought this a year ago. I use it daily, and it's still in great shape. The leather is sturdy and the straps are extremely well sewn onto the main body. This is not a flimsy product. Also, the zippers are of high quality. Highly recommended.

The bag is a great design, spacious and I can keep everything organized in different pockets which is excellent, but it’s only been a month and one of the seams in the front pocket has come undone and I can no longer return it. Upon closer inspection it seems it is a poorly secured saddle stitch and the thread is weak which makes me worry that all the pockets will eventually come off entirely so there’s no use in using the pockets. To take this bag apart and redo that stitch is going to be a nightmare. I’m a female, this bag is intended for men and was not yet heavily used. I’m thoroughly disappointed.

This is a nice bag. Well made and sturdy. My only criticism is that the pockets are extremely small and the side pockets are almost impossible to put anything in due to their small size and the thickness of the leather used. Having said that, I like the bag and with these constraints I recommend it to you.

Arrived in a timely manner. The weight, quality of the leather... all the way down to the packaging, was excellent. The inside laptop space fit my Asus laptop perfectly. The pockets are exactly what I was looking for; it is great for compartmentalization of external HDs, flashlights, chargers, etc. I love, military-grade tactical packs, specifically their pockets and compartments... this pack is a "GQ yet ruggedly dapper" version of a tactical pack. The quality is on par and/or exceeds that of name brands like Tumi and other more expensive packs (I own a Tumi backpack) , but at far more reasonable and attractive price. I'm very pleased and satisfied with this pack.

Great Leather backpack. Has a pocket for everything. Isnt all floppy and loose. Stays standing when youre packing it. Looks awesome. I use it every day and enjoy it.

I wish it had more inside space; however, I love the smell of leather. Just watch out for the rain. I don't think this has a special leather kit that is designed to protect the outside , leather integrity of the bag. Good, bag, however.

Weil unter diesem Link 3 verschiedenfarbige Rucksäcke vertrieben werden, hatte ich extra angefragt, ob es sich bei dem Obermaterial des grauen Rucksackes wirklich um Leder handelt, zumal die Bilder dahingehend nicht eindeutig sind! Mir wurde u.a. vom Hersteller selbst geantwortet, dass es sich hier tatsächlich um Leder handeln soll. Das ist aber schlicht nicht wahr! Das graue Obermaterial ist ein Segelstoff und KEIN LEDER! Hätte man mir das vorher mitgeteilt, auf meine Anfrage hin, hätte ich mich für den dunkelbraunen Rucksack komplett aus Leder entschieden, weil mir die Aufteilung der Außentaschen sehr gut gefallen hat! So aber wurde mir genau das verkauft, was ich keinesfalls haben wollte, nämlich ein Stoff-Rucksack! Ich besitze schon mehrere von diesen Dingern und sie alle sind spätestens nach 4-6 Monaten entweder völlig verschlissen oder die Reißverschlüsse geben den Geist auf. Deswegen wollte ich dieses Mal einen Rucksack komplett aus Leder! Leider habe ich also jetzt wieder einen Stoffrucksack mit ein paar Lederapplikationen. Von der Robustheit gehe ich aufgrund der Steifigkeit des Stoffes aus, dass er einigermaßen etwas aushält und auch ziemlich reißfest ist. Bei den Halteriemen, die leider auch nicht aus Leder sind, habe ich dagegen dieses Gefühl eher nicht! Außerdem sind die Trageriemen nicht gepolstert, was das Tragen bei höherem Transportgewicht zusätzlich sehr unbequem macht. Der obere Reißverschluß ist aus Metall, weshalb er ebenfalls ziemlich robust zu sein scheint, während der Reißverschluß der "Geheimtasche" im Rückenteil des Rucksackes ein herkömmlicher, einfacher Plastikreißverschluß ist, der nicht viel aushält und wohl mit als erstes den Geist aufgeben wird, benutzt man diese Tasche regelmäßig! Ebenso verhält es sich leider mit den Reißverschlüssen im inneren der Tasche. Alle nicht direkt sichtbaren Reißverschlüsse sind eher von minderwertigerer Qualität! Das Laptopfach ist nach innen hin gepolstert, befindet sich aber auch direkt an der Rückseite des Rucksacks, was es sehr unbequem macht, sein Laptop auf dem Rücken transportieren zu wollen. Eine Halterung für den Gepäckträger eines Fahrrades fehlt völlig, auf dem Fahrrad sollte man ihn deswegen besser auf dem Rücken behalten. Wegen der Maße des Rucksackes habe ich so meine Zweifel, ob er als Handgepäck bei den meisten Airlines durchgeht, als zusätzliche Laptoptasche, wie sie die meisten Airlines akzeptieren ist er auf jeden Fall viel zu groß. Eigentlich handelt es sich hier äußerlich um einen schön designten Rucksack, der aber in dieser Ausführung einige Schwächen aufweist! Die Trageriemen, die Qualität der nicht sichtbaren Reißverschlüsse ergeben natürlich einen Abzug bei den Sternen, aber die falsche Information zum Obermaterial, in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass ich einen LEDERRUCKSACK kaufen wollte und eigentlich auch gekauft habe, ergibt 2 weitere Sterne Abzug! Es ist mir schleierhaft, wie ein Produzent eine solche Falschinformation herausgeben kann!!! Ich bin darüber wirklich sehr verärgert! Insgesamt verbleiben lediglich 2 Sterne!

I’ve wanted a sturdy leather backpack for some time this certainly seemed to fit the bill. The pack’s leather shell is thick crazyhorse leather which marks easily but, to be honest, looks better for it. The interior pockets are less substantial but good enough to keep things separate. The pack is heavy empty but comfortable on the back and fits me nicely... I’m not small. My concerns are with the exterior pockets, they are sturdy but three of them, on the front, are only secured by a strap through a ring type fastener, these could easily come undone or be undone by a dastardly criminal. The two side pockets are open to the elements with no cover except for a retaining strap with a magnetic clasp. I recommend the pack but I would suggest that nothing of real value should go in the external pockets, especially in crowds or on the tube. Chunky leather backpack that looks like it will survive just about anything. I’m hoping it’s the last one I need to buy.

I have been using this bag for several years as a college student. I even brought this bag with me to Europe for a semester abroad. It lasted through everything and never had a problem. Unfortunately the zipper did end up breaking and that is why I gave it 4 stars in durability. However, the company was super helpful in getting me a replacement. I completely recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a super stylish and functional bag for school, work, or even traveling.

Received this for Christmas and I’m super happy with it. I’ve always wanted a leather backpack. Did a lot of research and decided this one was for me. After using it daily for work, glad I chose it.

Well time will tell with this, but I plan to use it is as kind of day trip bushcraft / wild camping bag, which I will put a rugged tablet inside. So far, it looks pretty well made to be honest. The lining on the pockets seems quite sturdy which is good because then if you put keys or something sharp in there, hopefully it will not wear out a hole. Pockets on the side suitable for a small water bottle or I've got the silky pocketboy saw in there. Manage to fit tobacco sized tins in the front pouches for firestarting kit, attachments for multitool which is in leather pouch with zip on front. Long top pouch suitable for small knife / cutlery, etc. All in all pretty happy but its see how it does in the field.

I love this bag. Because its leather its a little stiff in the beginning but with time and use it softens up quite a bit. It protects my tablet and electronics and has PLENTY of storage

I love my backpack. You can feel the quantity when you touch it an smell it. Definitely worth’s the price. The only downside is that is not a lightweight backpack, but that’s because it is made of real leather.

I read some of the bad reviews and was worried about how it would hold up but I have not had any issues at all. Very durable, and I like that it is thick leather and will hold its shape when I set it down do it stays standing up. It works really well for me

I was very sceptical about buying a leather rucksack / bag online without seeing it. My perception was that it would probably be a cheap bag that would not be worth the money. I have held off on buying one online hoping I might find one in a shop but after 6 months decided to go for this one over a few others and I am very pleased I did. It arrived today flat packed and a little squashed, once I filled it and gave it its shape I am pleased to say it is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The colour I purchased was the dark brown which online looks a little polished, however it is more Indiana Jones, matt leather rather than a polished leather. It is very thick and seemingly strong leather and appears to be very well made from my first impressions. Size wise it will comfortably fit a large laptop very easily, with four inches at the top and a two inches room to each side, (see image, clothes peg not included). It has enough room the laptop all chargers, and clothes for a day or two. The little flap pockets are of stiff leather so do stay shut and need to be pulled open as opposed to being loose and floppy. The side pockets would fit a 500ml water bottle or a can of beer depending on your preference. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend to anyone who is not going to use theirs in the same locations as me. Update after 9 months; this bag is still going strong after use most days. It is also relatively water resistant, I use it on my motorcycle and it will easily hold up to 20 minutes of rain without the inside getting wet, this is due to the thickness of the leather as opposed to it being waterproof. Also for those who work in volumes, this bag is about 20l.

It's a gorgeous backpack from the front. No doubt about it. A bit tight in space compared to other backpacks but still gorgeous. That said, after a few months my main zippers simply began to catch on the inside material unraveling. So what would take 5 seconds to unzip was more like 15-45 seconds as it became more and more stripped. I dealt with it for a couple more months but at this point I think it's time to retire the backpack and move on to a better product. :(

Perfect for styling.

I work in a mine and I work crazy hours day and night. for years I've been through bag after bag some lasting 3 months some lasting 3 days. This bag is lasted for a year now and still going strong. If you're tired of these cheesy bags wearing out this is the one you want to go for.

While I did have an issue with the material sewn to the zipper wearing, in my opinion prematurely; the seller was extremely supportive and desired nothing more than to help me! This is after 3 years and 4 months of ownership. This bag is extremely durable and looks great! Its exterior will stand the test of time. Note the zipper and straps are made of "cloth" vs nylon. But this is what give the bag the look. In my opinion it is a trade off issue. The bag aesthetics would not be the same if this were nylon. Traveled and toured to Europe. Took on plane as a carry-on with zero troubles internationally. Lots of storage pockets and very durable. Only suggestion would be to employ a more secure latching mechanism on some of the pockets.

This backpack is definitely sturdy, and that may be why the outer pockets can be a bit difficult to open and/or remove items from. The flaps can't be pushed totally verticle, so one has to push their hand into the pocket at an angle which makes things more difficult. If you're looking for sturdy, then this is the one; if you're looking for ease of use, then not so much. I bought it for the look as much as anything else.

Love the bag, even though it looks alot more worn down than the light patina the pictures show. I absolutely love thr bag. Comfortable to wear on the back and plenty of great storage space. Zipper seems to be upgraded after other people complsined. No problems with my zipper. GREAT costumer service as well when I spoke to them

I bought this June 16th of 2018. It is now May 14th 2018. So far.... 1) the first thing (2 months in) I had to replace was the stitching around the ends of the main zipper. The zipper doesn't have a stop, so if this happens it will come completely undone, it took quite a while to get the zipper pull back on and alligned properly. I was able to fix this and then put a stop at each end to prevent a repeat. This is something that would have cost pennies to put on... 2) This was repaired at the same time as the zipper. The straps on the pockets have no way to stop them from coming undone. The first 2 months I had this it was UNBEARABLE!!!! My stuff kept falling out of the three pockets CONSTANTLY. I paid to put a stud and hole to catch the strap to prevent pull outs from happening and losing my stuff. I ended up just cutting off the straps on the sides. the "snap" was useless. 3) The lining, which appears to be nylon started coming undone from the the leather. The laptop pocket started coming apart at the seams. I never fixed this. Every leather shop I took it to wanted more than what the backpack costs to fix this. This happened about 6 months in. 4) Through out this ordeal, the MAIN ZIPPER had issues. Stitching coming undone, getting stuck in the nylon coming apart from the inside. Zipper coming undone behind the pull etc. About a week ago, it completely failed, a tooth fell off and many more were lose or bent from trying to get it zipped after the back came undone due to the stitching coming loose from the whole zipper. The zipper is toast and most places wanted about 200$ to replace the zipper. This backpack is exactly what I want, but the MANY small issues it has prevent me from buying it again. The leather is great quality, but the other issues are too much. Hope this helps. Off to hunt down a new backpack... I hope this next one doesn't have these issues. I will probably find one WITHOUT ZIPPERS... 3)

I bought this as a work bag and it’s perfect! Easily fits a large laptop, plus files etc. Plenty of handy compartments too. It’s a really strong bag and can take lots of weight. It’s also waterproof too. Perfect for when you’re out and about.

I love this bag. It has a beautiful color and is rugged looking. I get complimented on it all the time. It has lots of pockets and is comfortable to wear and it looks stylish. As for travel? Not so good. It isn’t big enough to accommodate more than one night away, maybe two if you’re a really conservative packer. To me, it’s more like a briefcase. It’s still very nice, though.

I bought this as a gift for my wife, she carries a lot of stuff that just wasn't fitting in her old backpack and causing it to tear at the seams, so this was excellent for her. Plenty of pockets and pouches for all of her things, and it looks good. The only thing I would caution people about is that it's taller than expected. That's not a bad thing at all, but if you're not good at picturing dimensions like me, it's good to know.

More than I expected. Good quality leather, zippers & fasteners are tough & durable, and the pack is really good looking. It has a generous ( but not huge) well-organized main compartment. Front picks are only large enough for passports & items of similar size - which I like because it keeps things handy & quickly retrieved. Zippered pocket in the back was disappointingly small - only big enough for a CD or two. Overall great bag for the price.

No cushion for laptop. Laptop broke. Costed me 2000$. Color runs off and stains walls, car seat, clothes.

Leider ist der große Reißverschluß schon nach nur 2 Wochen schon kaputt. Ich hatte mich so gefreut auf den Rucksack, weil genau so einen habe ich schon länger gesucht. Mehrere Außentaschen, damit man nicht immer in dem großen Fächern suchen muß. Alles immer griffbereit. Schön, aber leider schon defekt.

Great bag, nice construction and fits well on all aircraft. However after 18 months the zippers on the top of the bag failed and the company has failed to my inquiry about a replacement. Would recommend you not purchase this bag as there is no support available once they get your money.
