The bag is very nicely made and the tan color is rich looking. I loved the inside pockets and security of the zippers. The strap to slide over luggage handle was also great and loved that the bag stood up on its own. My only issue was the bag was on the heavy side when empty. Once I put in my phone, wristlet and a few other items (plenty of room for these and more) I was glad I went shopping where I could put the bag in top of a shopping cart. It was just too heato carry on my shoulder for any length of time. I will say that I believe it is the high quality of leather that contributed to this issue.

I'll begin by saying that I had the blue bag in my wishlist. I was going to purchase it after the green arrived. I deleted the blue from the list. Here's why: this leather isn't soft at all. It will take a lifetime to soften. The buffalo hide does have a nice saddle smell and sound to it, but if you're looking for buttery leather don't choose this tote. The distressed look is nice, and the green is a rich color. It sits comfortably on my shoulder and it holds quite bit. So, I think the 4 rating is fair, but it's not perfect. If I had it to do over again I probably would because it is a good value and it's well made. I just never carried buffalo hide before. It takes some getting used to.

Whoever says the smell is awful maybe shouldn’t buy leather. I absolutely love this smell! How can I describe it? It smells really posh, expensive genuine leather. It’s also very thick and has that beautiful rustic look. Amazing quality! You can say it’s hand made and all metal buckles look brass to me. Also metal zippers are a must here! The shoulder strap is very strong with a layer of cotton heavy duty webbing.

A thick leather bag with a rustic, weathered look. It is large enough to hold a lot of anything you need to keep with you all day. The shoulder drop is comfortable. It is a stiffer leather but it feels like it will soften with time because it isn't rigid. Interior pockets keep my stuff organized.

I cannot express how much I love this S-Zone leather women's tote bag! It's gorgeous genuine leather with nice large straps for over the shoulder bag. I adore bags like these to shop with because they can hold smaller packages and keep my hands free while I shop some more. Leather is so durable and I love the smell of leather. Just feels luxurious too! I took photos of both sides of this bag, but my pic of inside is too dark (sorry). On the outside is a large open pocket and on the other side is a closed zipper pocket which is perfect for cell phone. Inside there's a large open pocket with Velcro strap and the opposite side has a large zipper pocket and two open pockets one being larger than the other. There are grass nailheads on the straps and outside pocket. LOVE, love this bag!

I love the construction of this shoulder bag! From the buttery soft leather to the attention to detail that they used to make the handles strong, you can see that the level of pride that is taken in making these bags. The leather only improves with age and if you get slight scratches on it, you can use a soft cloth to make them disappear. The handles are one of my favorite features on this bag. They are triple stitched and will hold up to your use. I've used one computer bag for work for a little over a year and I have to replace it because the handle is showing stress from the weight of the items I carry around. This bag will not do that!
Inside the bag, you have one large main compartment, a padded laptop compartment that will hold up to a 13.3" laptop, two slip pockets which would be great for your cell phone and writing utensils and one zipper pocket. On the outside of the bag, you have another zippered pocket that has a strap to use to attach the bag over your luggage. On the other side of the bag, you have an open slot that will allow you to slide in a 7.9" iPad or other tablets.
Overall, a great product! They also have a matching bag if you need one that will hold a larger laptop!

It was just too heato carry on my shoulder for any length of time. I will say that I believe it is the high quality of leather that contributed to this issue.

As a teacher, I have a hard time finding a durable, attractive bag large enough to carry my books and binder. Finally, this bag is it with just the right amount of pockets for utensils and such. Easily fits a laptop instead of books. Excellent choice for the price.

Although this bag is long, its not enough room in terms of width, which is kind of deceiving. It took me a few weeks of use and constant frustration at how little I could fit in this bag to realize this.
If you're looking for a tote with lots of space for all your stuff, this one is not it.

I'll begin by saying that I had the blue bag in my wishlist. I was going to purchase it after the green arrived. I deleted the blue from the list. Here's why: this leather isn't soft at all. It will take a lifetime to soften. The buffalo hide does have a nice saddle smell and sound to it, but if you're looking for buttery leather don't choose this tote. The distressed look is nice, and the green is a rich color. It sits comfortably on my shoulder and it holds quite bit. So, I think the 4 rating is fair, but it's not perfect. If I had it to do over again I probably would because it is a good value and it's well made. I just never carried buffalo hide before. It takes some getting used to.

Whoever says the smell is awful maybe shouldn’t buy leather. I absolutely love this smell! How can I describe it? It smells really posh, expensive genuine leather. It’s also very thick and has that beautiful rustic look. Amazing quality! You can say it’s hand made and all metal buckles look brass to me. Also metal zippers are a must here! The shoulder strap is very strong with a layer of cotton heavy duty webbing.

The only thing I would be careful of is carrying it against lighter clothing, I get to wear a stained shirt all day because of this bag. Worth it probably...? This is the most amazing bag. It is more beautiful than what you see on the description. I bought this to use as my bag for when I travel on planes and it holds everything I need. A thick leather bag with a rustic, weathered look. It is large enough to hold a lot of anything you need to keep with you all day. The shoulder drop is comfortable. It is a stiffer leather but it feels like it will soften with time because it isn't rigid. Interior pockets keep my stuff organized.

I cannot express how much I love this S-Zone leather women's tote bag! It's gorgeous genuine leather with nice large straps for over the shoulder bag. I adore bags like these to shop with because they can hold smaller packages and keep my hands free while I shop some more. Leather is so durable and I love the smell of leather. Just feels luxurious too! I took photos of both sides of this bag, but my pic of inside is too dark (sorry). On the outside is a large open pocket and on the other side is a closed zipper pocket which is perfect for cell phone. Inside there's a large open pocket with Velcro strap and the opposite side has a large zipper pocket and two open pockets one being larger than the other. There are grass nailheads on the straps and outside pocket. LOVE, love this bag!

I love the construction of this shoulder bag! From the buttery soft leather to the attention to detail that they used to make the handles strong, you can see that the level of pride that is taken in making these bags. The leather only improves with age and if you get slight scratches on it, you can use a soft cloth to make them disappear. The handles are one of my favorite features on this bag. They are triple stitched and will hold up to your use. I've used one computer bag for work for a little over a year and I have to replace it because the handle is showing stress from the weight of the items I carry around. This bag will not do that!
Inside the bag, you have one large main compartment, a padded laptop compartment that will hold up to a 13.3" laptop, two slip pockets which would be great for your cell phone and writing utensils and one zipper pocket. On the outside of the bag, you have another zippered pocket that has a strap to use to attach the bag over your luggage. On the other side of the bag, you have an open slot that will allow you to slide in a 7.9" iPad or other tablets.
Overall, a great product! They also have a matching bag if you need one that will hold a larger laptop!
